Biography
Hi, I’m HD Silversmith -- yes, a nom de plume -- and I'm an author of academic and creative nonfiction under my own name and a fan of classic and genre fiction alike. I write this column to help writers of all kinds focus on successfully meeting their writing goals.
Though I’ve been blogging since 2005, I created Punctum in May 2009 to help myself deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of completing writing projects while balancing them with the demands of home and a full-time job as a college professor.
